Ohio Go Run 2008 Logistics

We are very excited to meet you at Go Run next weekend, June 6-8th!!  Below are the details about the weekend – please read thoroughly and if you have any questions, please call or email Faith at fwinter@thewhitehouseproject.org or 303.594.5594. 

COMPLETE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT: 

If you have not already paid for your registration, please bring your credit card or a check made payable to "The White House Project" to the training on Friday. 

SCHEDULE: 

Go Run Registration is between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm on Friday, June 6th.  The program starts promptly at 6:00 pm and goes until 9:30 pm in the evening.  

Saturday we begin at 9:00 am and go until 8:30 pm.  

Sunday we begin at 9:00 am and we go until 3:00 pm.

***You are expected to attend all trainings and be there for the entire time.  If you have a conflict, please contact Faith. 

LOCATION: 

Friday night reception and registration is at the Hyatt on Capitol Square, 75 East State Street, Columbus, OH 43215. 

Saturday and Sunday are at the Riffe Center, 77 South High St., 31st Floor, Columbus, OH 43215. 

PARKING: 

We are not able to provide parking for participants.  There are several pay lots around the hotel and Riffe center.  Parking is also available at the Double Tree, however, this is not covered by The White House Project. 

HOUSING: 

If you need housing and did not sign up for housing through the application process, please contact Faith ASAP at fwinter@thewhitehouseproject.org. 

***Please call Faith if you need a room.  Please do not contact the Double Tree directly. 

If you have housing, you will be staying at the Double Tree Hotel at 50 S. Front Street.  Please check into the hotel before coming to registration at the Hyatt.  To get to the Hyatt from the Double Tree, take a left out of the hotel on Front Street.  Take a left on East State Street.  Walk 2.5 blocks to the Hyatt. 

FOOD: 

All meals and snacks will be provided.  If you have special needs or allergies and did not indicate those on your application, please contact fwinter@thewhitehouseproject.org ASAP. 

DRESS: 

Ohio Go Run will be an intensive weekend inside conference rooms.  Please dress comfortably.  The Friday evening session is business casual; Saturday and Sunday are weekend casual.  (Jeans are acceptable for all days.)  Anticipate that the meeting spaces may either be too cool or too warm for your preference and pack accordingly. 

DRIVING DIRECTIONS: 

From Port Columbus International Airport (8 miles): Take I-670 West toward downtown to 3rd St. exit. Follow 3rd St. approximately 7 traffic lights to State St. Hotel is on right at 3rd St. and State St. The Hyatt's valet parking is on the right. 

From North of Columbus (Cleveland): Take I-71 South to 670 West toward downtown to 3rd St. exit. Follow 3rd St. approximately 7 traffic lights to State St. Hotel is on right at 3rd St. and State St. The Hyatt's valet parking is on the right. 

From East of Columbus (Pittsburgh, Zanesville): Take I-70 West to the 4th Street Exit. Turn right onto 4th Street and follow approximately 5 blocks to State Street. Turn left onto State street and continue one block to 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and the Hyatt's valet parking is on the immediate right. 

From South of Columbus (Cincinnati): Take I-71 North to the 4th Street Exit. Turn left onto 4th Street and follow approximately 5 blocks to State Street. Turn left onto State street and continue one block to 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and the Hyatt's valet parking is on the immediate right. 

From Canton: Take 30 West to I-71 South to 670 West. Follow 670 to the 3rd Street exit. Follow 3rd Street approximately 7 traffic lights to State Street. Hotel is on right at 3rd Street and State Street. The Hyatt's valet parking is on the right. 

From Detroit/Toledo: Take 75 South to 23 South. Follow 23 South to 270 East. Follow 270 East to 71 South. Follow I-71 South to 670 West. Follow 670 to the 3rd Street exit. Follow 3rd Street approximately 7 traffic lights to State Street. Hotel is on right at 3rd Street and State Street. The Hyatt's valet parking is on the right. 

From West of Columbus (Dayton, Indianapolis): Take I-70 East to the 4th Street Exit. Turn left onto 4th Street and follow approximately 5 blocks to State Street. Turn left onto State street and continue one block to 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and the Hyatt's valet parking is on the immediate right. 

From 315 South (670 East under construction through early August): Take 315 South I-70 East to the 4th Street Exit. Turn left onto 4th Street and follow approximately 5 blocks to State Street. Turn left onto State street and continue one block to 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and the Hyatt's valet parking is on the immediate right.
